Take a guided tour of The Fox Theater on November 12th between 1:00-3:30 p.m. It’s Spokane’s 1931 Art Deco gem that’s on the National Register of Historic Places. This November is “Celebrate The Fox” month, marking the 10th anniversary of its restoration. Sunday, Nov. 12 is a Community Day to explore The Fox. The building is open free to the public to see the lobby, mezzanine and theater spaces, or you can take a $5 guided tour (about 30 minutes, with each tour accommodating about 30 people) to hear the history of The Fox, learn about the architecture, murals and decorations and get a rare chance to see backstage. Tickets are available online at www.foxtheaterspokane.com, at the Martin Woldson at The Fox Box Office at 1001 W. Sprague Avenue, (509) 624-1200, or at the door. On Nov. 12 the bar and concessions area are open, and a Spokane Symphony ensemble will perform live music for your enjoyment. Please join us to “Celebrate The Fox” on November 12!
