PARKING FOR
BUSINESS
The Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) gathers and provides parking information in the downtown area to make your parking experience as convenient as possible. Please note, the DSP is not directly affiliated with any of the parking operators listed on this page. For inquiries related to specific parking spaces, availability, or payment, please reach out directly to the respective parking operator.
Long-term Parking
If you work downtown or like to shop or play here often, Downtown Spokane has several options to help you with parking. Explore below for a description of the parking programs that are overseen by the BID. Parking Operators in the downtown area are encouraged to participate in ParkSpokane by helping customers find parking faster. See our toolkit
RIVER PARK SQUARE
Featuring 1,300 stalls, River Park Square’s public garage is located right in the core of downtown.
THE PARKADE
The recently renovated Parkade has availability for monthly parking and is currently offering incentives for long term commitments.
Commute with STA
For only $40 per month with ShuttlePark, park at the Arena parking lot and receive a ride to and from downtown. ShuttlePark is a partnership between the Spokane Transit Authority (STA), the Spokane Arena, and the BID.
The Plaza-Arena shuttle travels to the center of downtown to the STA Plaza with many convenient stops along the way. During peak hours, the shuttle departs every few minutes with service every 20 minutes throughout the day. Parking is available Monday through Friday, plus on weekends if no events are scheduled at the Arena. The ShuttlePark pass is valid on the shuttle during all service hours and is also accepted on Routes 27 and 39 which pass directly by the Spokane Arena after Plaza-Arena shuttle hours.
Parking Permits
The City of Spokane requires permits to park in specific places. Permits may be obtained in person at the 3rd Floor of City Hall, or online, and include:
- Commercial Loading Zone

- Mobile Food Vendor Permit
- Downtown Residential Parking District Permit

Downtown staff will conduct a semi-annual survey of parking rates and long-term parking availability. For the latest results, email info@downtownspokane.org.
