More than just the silver lining we see on the edge of clouds\, joy helps us find meaning\, purpose\, and the courage to take the next step. \nInterpretations of Joy are represented in different forms of printmaking\, such as intaglio and relief printing\, from linoleum\, wood carving\, and letterpress printing by members of the Spokane Print & Publishing Center. \nYou can view the show this April in the Liberty Gallery (above Aunties Bookstore) ~ stop by on First Friday April 3rd from 5-8pm to meet the artists!

DESCRIPTION:We exist in a moment of over-stimulation and information saturation\, a moment where a short descriptive paragraph can create a beautiful\, sparkling image for us\, but then be quickly forgotten and dissolved back into the ether of the internet.This work is a playful way to make commentary on the serious questions about AI art. Using very simple pre-programmed vacuuming/mopping robots with some minimal modifications I wrangle the robots to produce something visually interesting. The catch is\, just like AI\, these robots cannot do it on their own. They need input and a lot of help from a person to make the art.

Think Open-Mic night\, but .005% better. \nThis show is FREE\, and we have food/drink specials all night. \nComedians looking to perform: \nIf you are interested in performing\, sign up at www.openmicer.com \nWe schedule our open-mic a month at a time to allow you to invite your friends and know you will be performing without driving and waiting\nin line for no reason! \nSign-ups must be completed by the 15th of the month\, and we will post the list by the end of the month at www.openmicer.com. \nComics get 4 minutes of stage time. If you are a “no-show” for your spot\, you will be ineligible for a spot for 2 months\, so PLEASE check the website. \nIf you are not selected we still encourage you to come watch the show.
