DESCRIPTION:Please join us on Friday\, February 6th\, for the opening of “Broken is a Beautiful Place to Start – A Woman’s Journey”\, a moving new exhibit by New Orleans artist Mary Bonney. Taking on a theme based on Dante’s Inferno\, Bonney’s deeply personal and reflective exhibit of painting\, mixed media and sculpture explores the process of healing\, reemergence and redemption after suffering a personal and inflicted trauma. Bonney has exhibited throughout the US and in Europe\, and her D2 show is her first time exhibiting in the Pacific Northwest. Music provided by Spokane jazz musician David Larsen\, playing the sounds of New Orleans.
