SUMMARY:Go with the Flow: Works by Peyton Hudson
DESCRIPTION:Peyton’s work reflects a deep appreciation for detail and texture. She combines fluid acrylic painting with doodles\, creating art that is rich in layers and visual complexity. When she’s not creating\, Peyton enjoys spending time with her two dogs and her husband\, finding inspiration in the everyday moments of life. The work is an exploration of texture\, color\, and the natural world\, weaving together fluid acrylic paint with hand-drawn doodles. Paintings in layers\, allowing each section to evolve organically\, creating depth and complexity. The process of layering is integral to the work—it mirrors the complexity of life\, where multiple elements\, experiences\, and emotions interact to form something uniquely beautiful.

SUMMARY:Proof
DESCRIPTION:This production of Proof is being independently produced and directed by Scott Worley in collaboration with local Spokane artists. This is not the launch of a new theatre company\, but an independent project created in support of the Spokane theatre community\, with a focus on thoughtful storytelling and strong theatrical craft. \nFollowing the death of her brilliant but mentally unstable father\, Catherine is left navigating grief\, uncertainty\, and the fear that she may have inherited more than his mathematical genius. As a former student searches through her father’s notebooks for undiscovered work and her sister pressures her toward a different future\, Catherine is forced to confront questions of trust\, identity\, love\, and the fragile line between brilliance and instability.

SUMMARY:Opening Reception for Light / Land / Sky
DESCRIPTION:Featuring Tom Bovey\, Bevie Labrie\, Laurie Carlson\, and Heatherann Woods\, Light/Land/Sky brings together four artists exploring landscape\, light\, and perspective through varied materials and viewpoints. From aerial studies of the rural Spokane region to expansive skies shaped by atmosphere and weather\, the work invites viewers to slow down and look closely at land\, sky\, and the subtle shifts that shape how we experience place. \nUsing approaches that range from drone-informed drawing and traditional painting to earth pigments and reused materials\, these artists reflect on how we see and relate to our environment in the present moment. Twilight scenes reveal quiet illumination in darkness\, skies stretch the sense of scale and possibility\, and works made from what is already at hand speak to resilience\, sufficiency\, and care for the land\, and the people who inhabit it. \nRooted in both local and far-reaching landscapes\, this exhibition considers how changing perspective whether from above\, at the edge of enough\, or in the search for light can open space for reflection\, connection\, and imagination.
