Six decades since I picked up a crayon and I’m still trying to get it “right”. I take a sketchbook with me everywhere striving to hone my skills or capture an idea for that next piece. Through the years I’ve developed my own style, I use lots of black, stark contrast, and heavy line work. My influences were comic books, album art, movie posters, graphic novels, street art, and bad dreams (not nightmares). I have illustrated a couple books and magazine articles with a few more in the works. Occasionally I will “hide” my work in plain sight around town. While traveling, I leave art on the bottom of
drawers and on the back of electrical plates in hotel rooms. This show captures my current mood as I cringe after what I hear or read from various forms of media. The title “…” is like the work — for you to interpret…
