About This Event

Against all odds Marmot made it to EIGHT!

Most commercial art galleries barely make it thru Year One as they hemorrhage money every month. Those that make it to Year Two finish blowing through their savings completely and close their doors before ever beginning Year Three.

Thanks to our supporters we made it thru those first few super challenging years. YOU are an inspiration!

Did you support us in 2015? Thank you! In 2016? Amazing! In 2017? Wonderful! In 2018? Super! In 2019? Wow! In 2020? Excellent! In 2021? Appreciated! In 2022? Fantastic!

It’s now 2023 and we very much look forward to bringing you some incredible art that you’ll fall in love with and take home with you. So excited to find the perfect piece for you!

Meanwhile, the special thing that’s happening this month is that we will be selling a print (or two!) of Ric Gendron’s. We never do this! But we’re working on a book featuring Ric’s work, and we want to make sure to finish it, so all the money raised from the sales of the prints will go towards the production and distribution of the book.

This is important for all the people that have told us over the years that they can’t afford a Gendron piece. Now you can!

Let’s start Year Nine off with a bang! We’ll also have our regular all star lineup – pieces from Smithsonian Visionary Artist Award Winner Patti Warashina, Legendary Painter Alfredo Arreguin, Professors Emeriti Ruben Trejo and Gordon Wilson, Professors Frank Munns and Rob McKirdie, Japanese Ceramicist Wataru Sugiyama, Japanese American Painter Pamela Caughey, Award-winning Bend Artists Sarah B Hansen and Shelli Walters, along with Local Legend Ric Gendron.

Excited to see you Friday, March 3rd!
