In honor of International Women’s Day, a global holiday celebrated on March 8 as a focal point in the women’s rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women, the Alliance for Media Arts + Culture presents the award-winning documentary My Name is Andrea. My Name is Andrea highlights the views of one of the most polarizing figures of feminist movements in the US and abroad, Andrea Dworkin. The screening will be followed by a performance of poetry in celebration of International Women’s Day. Expect it to be… r/evolutionary!
