About This Event

July 31 through August 4 is Summer Safety Week in downtown Spokane. Check in on Downtown Spokane on your favorite social media and learn about community resources dedicated to a clean, safe, and welcoming community for all.

As part of Summer Safety Week, the community is invited to celebrate National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 1, 4-7pm on Wall Street between Main Ave and Spokane Falls in downtown Spokane.

Attend for networking, community building, and games!

  • Meet with representatives from the Spokane Police Department, Downtown Ambassadors, Riverfront Park Rangers, Spokane C.O.P.S. and Mounted Patrol volunteers.
  • Learn about wheel safety with Lime, and stop by to see the team at ADT and The Advocates.
  • Free microchip scanning and microchipping booth for pets with STAHR (Short-Term After-Hours) rescue and they take in dogs and cats and place them in foster homes when SCRAPS and other local shelters are closed.
  • Plus games, prizes, free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, and treats when you complete the event passport.
