Auntie’s is welcoming poets Rosa Lane & Spokane Poet Laureate Mery Smith! Come on down for an evening of poetry. Rosa Lane will read from her 4th poetry collection, Called Back (2024, Tupelo Press). Called Back, a title memorializing the last two words Emily Dickinson wrote, is a sequence of poems written in queer conversation with Dickinson. Mery Noel Smith will read from her chapbook, crumbs, as well as her new work. She will share poems in live discovery, spoken words–fresh, edgy, and fearless.
