Inland NW Artist LR Montgomery paints the out-of-doors where we live and play. His original impressionistic landscapes let you bring the ambiance and memories of your outdoor experiences into your homes, workplaces, and recreational abodes. His images float through the boundaries of realism and impressionism, reflecting a sensitivity and close interaction with the environment and the Northwest outdoor life style. He is the Artist in Residence for Dishman Hills Conservancy, and has worked to benefit organizations such as Spokane Riverkeeper, Friends of Manito, and NW Museum of Arts & Culture.
Also mark your calendars to stop by on Saturday, Nov 19 at 5pm to hear director Ruth Gifford and LR Montgomery talk about the Conservancy’s vision, mission and current projects to protect our community’s now 3200+ acre natural wild life and recreational corridor, which stretches from Camp Caro to beyond Big Rock, overlooking the Palouse on the south.
LR Montgomery will have his beautiful paintings at the Liberty Gallery above Aunties Bookstore the entire month of November!
