Join us for an evening of discovery and hope with the Upper Columbia United Tribes as we learn about their progress reintroducing salmon into the blocked habits of the Upper Columbia, including the Spokane River. Representatives from The Spokane Tribe of Indians and The Coeur d’Alene Tribe of Indians will explain the historical relationship between salmon and the local tribes, how salmon were wiped out from the local waters, and how they are using modern scientific techniques to reintroduce salmon and restore the important relationship between salmon and people.
