To celebrate Spokane’s unique, historic downtown, awards will be presented to businesses in the downtown area for the best Holiday window displays. The contest runs from Small Business Saturday, November 30, through December 20, 2019. Winners will be announced on December 23.
Each award winner will receive $500 in advertising in The Spokesman-Review, some restrictions apply. Winners will also receive a trophy to display.
- Mayor’s Choice Award — Determined by incoming Spokane Mayor, Nadine Woodward
- The Spokesman Award – Determined by staff at The Spokesman Review
- People’s Choice award – Determined by public voting
To vote, pick up your ballot at the Davenport Grand Hotel, at any of the participating businesses, or print online (click here). Votes may be returned to the voting drop box located inside the Davenport Grand Hotel. The business window with the most votes by 5:00pm December 20 will win the People’s Choice Award.
One ballot will be drawn to win a night stay at the Davenport Tower!
