About This Event

Class Description: Does cooking with tofu intimidate you? Don’t let it! By the end of this hands-on class you will cook confidently with tofu!
Learn to choose the right texture for the dish you’re cooking, how to season properly, prepare tofu raw, cook tofu using both the Dry Fry Method and the Thousand Layer Method, how to marinate and more!
Each student will start the class by getting hands-on and learning how to Dry Fry and season their tofu. Then, they’ll make their filling for Asian Tofu Lettuce Wraps. Once the wraps are completed, sit back and enjoy them while Jamie demonstrates her burrito filling, “chicken-style tenders” and pie! You’ll go home with her Tofu Guide and all the recipes so you can recreate them at home!
On the menu, Mexican Chili Burritos, Asian Tofu Lettuce Wraps, “Chicken-Style Tenders” and a decadent Chocolate Truffle Pie for dessert!
