Women Helping Women Fund (WHWF) has announced the return of its spring fundraiser on Tuesday, May 17, with An Iconic Night at the Fox. The 2022 event, presented by Providence Health Care and Numerica Credit Union, will be held in person at the Martin Woldson Fox Theater in downtown Spokane.
This year’s event features a new and exciting format and location in honor of the organization’s 30th Anniversary. With a nod to WHWF’s long-standing luncheon program, attendees will:
– Hear from Irin Carmon and Shana Knizhnik, authors of “Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg”
– Discuss important issues affecting women and children of the Spokane community and learn about the organizations who are making a difference
– Enjoy a performance by Spokane Symphony musicians
– Toast to 30 years of WHWF and our members, partners and grantees who support women and children year after year
Doors open at 3:00 PM PDT, program will begin promptly at 4:00 PM PDT, and guests are invited to stay for an optional cocktail hour beginning at 5:00 PM PDT. Tickets are $135 and can be purchased at bit.ly/an-iconic-night . 100% of the funds raised by this event will support grantees, scholars and community-based solutions for women and children in Spokane.
