An exhibit of early works on paper, created over 20 years while on a lunch hour, teaching Design and Composition at Gonzaga University, Spokane, WA. A central theme of smoke relating to both kiln firing and the theme of “blowing smoke,” hiding fact behind a smoke screen of information, relevant then and maybe more relevant now. Functional and sculptural clay works will be placed into the rhythm of the paper works. Exhibit opens First Friday, March 7 and continues through March 29, Regular gallery hours: Wednesday through Friday, 11 AM – 5 PM.
