SUMMARY:PPP Welcomes Karen Vollmer-Poseley & Mia Simonsen as Guest Artists in April!
DESCRIPTION:This April Pottery Place Plus is pleased to present the resin art of Karen Vollmer-Poseley and the sculpted wool of Mia Simonsen. \nKaren finds the magic of the resin art form is in the process of watching each piece become unique in the final form ~ no two pieces are alike! \nMia’s “Owl Song Feltery” creates botanicals out of wool ~ cactus and succulents were her first botanicals of choice\, and more recently mushrooms and other fungi. \nKaren’s resin art and Mia’s needle felting allows them to design botanicals year-round. Stop by PPP in the historic Liberty Building in April to view their “botanical art” ~ stop by on First Friday April 3rd from 5-8pm to meet the artists!

SUMMARY:Liberty Gallery presents "From Stardust" – Dreamscapes of the Universe by Kelsea Rothaus
DESCRIPTION:Kelsea Rothaus is a self-taught artist based in Spokane. Her work explores themes of the human condition and the interconnectedness of the universe. Using primarily ink and water to embrace both unpredictability and permanence\, each creation is shaped into a moment in time\, with quiet tension between light and dark.\nKelsea’s latest body of work looks outward to the stars and universe while reflecting on what it means to be human. Using her own style of ink wash\, she embraces a process that is fluid yet permanent. Each mark is final\, and echoes the irreversible nature of lived experience. These dreamscapes are subtly embellished with detail\, inviting you to slow down and look closer at the art or into yourself. \nStop by the Liberty Gallery located in the Historic Liberty Building from Jan 25th to Feb 28th… stop by First Friday on Feb 6th to meet Kelsea in person!
