  • Public Safety & Policy Advocacy:
DSP continues to lead regional advocacy efforts to strengthen laws addressing chronic crime, disorder, and public drug use. Through active engagement with federal, state, and local leaders, DSP championed policies that have given Spokane new tools to address long-standing safety challenges.
  • Clean & Safe Operations:
As manager of the Downtown Business Improvement District (BID), DSP delivers year-round cleaning, public-space care, and enhanced safety presence. These services remain the backbone of a welcoming and functional downtown.
  • Economic Vitality & Business Support:
Through direct engagement with employers, property owners, and development partners, DSP advances strategies to grow investment, retain jobs, and strengthen downtown’s business climate.
  • Placemaking & Activation:
Programming and public-space improvements have continued to draw residents, workers, and visitors into downtown reinforcing the social and economic fabric that makes Spokane unique.

This consistent focus on safety, economic vitality, and activation is helping rebuild momentum for downtown Spokane’s next era.
