On August 14th, at the Opening Reception for the “Targets” exhibit, from 5 to 8, D2 Gallery will stage a fundraiser for people impacted by the Spokane wildfires. Several of the exhibiting artists at D2, including Carl Richardson, Benjamin Heiken, Mary Bonney, Lauren Urlacher, Renee Oberdorf and Michael Dinning, have donated works of art to be raffled as a fundraiser for the H.O.M.E. Starts Here fund. This fund, which is typically used to support services for people experiencing homelessness, is being activated to accept donations for community members impacted by the recent wildfires. 100% of all proceeds made during the raffle will go to H.O.M.E. Starts Here, and the raffle will continue for two weeks, until August 29th. Additionally, 70% of the sale price for any artwork included in the Targets exhibit will also be donated to the H.O.M.E. fund. D2 Gallery & Studio, 310 W. First Ave., Spokane, WA 99201.
