The Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) will host the 2026 State of Downtown Breakfast & Awards on Friday, June 5, 2026, at the Spokane Convention Center’s Centennial Ballroom. Celebrating 30 years of service to downtown Spokane, the annual event will bring together business and community leaders for updates on downtown development, economic trends and the future of Spokane’s urban core, along with a special announcement highlighting exciting new projects planned for downtown public spaces.
The program will feature remarks from DSP President & CEO Emilie Cameron, Spokane Mayor Lisa Brown and keynote speaker Julia Huang, a nationally recognized entrepreneur and marketing strategist known for helping brands and cities build stronger connections through culture, creativity and community identity. Her perspective on leadership, place-making and the future of vibrant downtowns will offer timely inspiration for Spokane’s business and civic leaders.
The morning will also include the presentation of the 2026 Legacy Award to the Lilac Bloomsday Association and the 2026 Impact Award to Clearwater Paper.
