Over 20 years ago when Leon Chi discovered his love for sushi making. After many years of working in Manhattan, Leon decided to open his own restaurant. Leon wanted to share his own recipes and culinary tastes and thus the Shiki brand was born. Looking for a slower pace of living, Leon settled on the Pacific Northwest, more specifically, Washington State. Leon opened the first Shiki location in Walla Walla, WA in 2015 and quickly discovered his hard work and love for sushi made a recipe for success and happy customers. In September of 2016, Leon opened a second location in Kennewick. A third location opened in Hermiston, OR in 2017. We at Shiki strive to provide excellent customer service, high quality sushi, and a memorable dining experience.
