Call for Musicians | Downtown Spokane Events

The Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) is seeking local musicians to perform at a variety of downtown events presented by DSP and community partners throughout the summer and fall of 2026.

Our events welcome thousands of visitors, residents, employees, and community members downtown to enjoy art, local businesses, food, and community experiences. We are looking for musicians who can help create a welcoming atmosphere with live music that complements the event without overpowering conversation. We are primarily seeking solo artists, duos, and small acoustic or lightly amplified groups performing music appropriate as background entertainment for public events. Performances should enhance the guest experience while allowing attendees to comfortably visit, network, shop, and enjoy the event.

What DSP Provides

  • Performance fee (varies by event; see listings below)
  • Parking validation
  • Inclusion in event promotions and online event information, when applicable
  • Coordination with DSP event staff for arrival, setup, and event logistics

Performer Requirements

  • Family-friendly repertoire appropriate for public audiences
  • Music performed at a conversational volume suitable for networking and community events
  • Ability to provide your own instruments, amplification, and sound equipment (unless otherwise noted)
  • All required business licenses and permits, if applicable

If you are interested in participating, please contact lizh@downtownspokane.org. Performance opportunities will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
