Monthlong celebration features daily snow shows, local deals, and winter wellness experiences

Downtown Spokane invites the community to shake off the post-holiday slump and rediscover the city center with “Après Holiday,” a seasonal promotion designed to bring warmth, wellness, and winter fun to downtown.

Through February 15, the Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) is highlighting a curated mix of activities that offer the perfect remedy for the holiday hangover. From wellness experiences to snow shows and “new year, new you” features, Après Holiday encourages residents and visitors alike to embrace winter and chase away the blues.

Daily Snow Show on Wall Street

Wall Street becomes a winter destination each day at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., with visual snowfall creating festive, shareable moments in the heart of downtown.

Visitors can warm up before or after the Snow Show by stopping at participating coffee shops and mentioning the Snow Show or the Après Holiday promotion at checkout:

• Rocket Bakery, 207 N. Wall St.: Visit from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., or 4:30 to 5 p.m. and receive buy one drink, get the second drink 50 percent off.
• Thomas Hammer Coffee: Receive $2 off any handcrafted beverage at the Wall Street location, 122 N. Wall St., between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., or at the Washington Trust Building location, 717 W. Sprague Ave., between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Pop-Up Winter Fun

Follow @downtownspokane on Facebook and Instagram for updates on pop-up activities throughout the promotion, including playful winter surprises designed for downtown residents, employees, and visitors. Activities may include spontaneous snowball fights and other moments of seasonal fun.

Shop. Spend. Win.

Winter can be a challenging season for independent businesses, and DSP is inviting the community to show them a little extra love. Now through February 15, shoppers who support participating downtown retailers and restaurants can enter to win the $1,000 Downtown Après Holiday Grand Prize while keeping their dollars local.

The winter themed prize package includes gift cards, experiences and local favorites. Entries may be submitted via the entry box in the atrium at River Park Square.

Visitors are also invited to share their winter resolutions with Jack Frost by placing a note in the mailbox on Wall Street. Each note serves as an entry to win one of five $50 gift cards to Wall Street businesses, including Rocket Bakery, Flatstick Pub, Mod Pizza, Jimmy John’s, and Thomas Hammer.
