Genie Maples explores grief, resilience, and wonder in new Chase Gallery exhibition. Through painting, drawing, textile work, assemblage, and mixed-media installation, My Life Is a Curious Beast invites viewers into a deeply personal exploration of loss, healing, creativity, and transformation. The exhibition brings together works from several interconnected bodies of work created over many years.
The artist will be present during the Second Friday reception on July 10th from 5:00-8:00 pm, providing visitors an opportunity to meet her and learn more about the stories and processes behind the work. Light refreshments will be available.
