Sponsor a Sidewalk Planter this Spring

The Downtown Spokane Partnership Invites individuals and organizations to help downtown flourish by sponsoring a sidewalk planter this Spring.

Spokane, WA – The Downtown Spokane Partnership is launching a new community-driven beautification initiative, inviting residents, businesses, and organizations to sponsor sidewalk planters throughout the downtown core.

For $50, sponsors can select their preferred downtown area and dedicate a planter in honor, memory, or recognition of a person, group, or business. The program aims to increase vibrancy, enhance the pedestrian experience, and foster a sense of shared ownership in downtown Spokane.

Planters will be installed starting Spring Clean Week, taking place April 27 through May 1, 2026, as part of a broader effort to prepare downtown for the spring and summer season.

“This program is about more than flowers. It is about community pride, connection, and creating a downtown that reflects the people who care about it,” said DSP Placemaking Manager, Eddie Castillo.

Proceeds from the program are tax deductible and directly support ongoing beautification efforts through the Downtown Spokane Community Investment Group.

Sponsorships are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
