Join YWCA Spokane and the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture for an Afternoon of History and Storytelling
Held during the start of Domestic Violence Action Month, this event celebrates the women who have shaped our city through YWCA Spokane’s 123 years of community services, while honoring the strength of survivors whose voices carry that legacy forward.

Interactive Booths: Activities for the whole family to participate in and tell their stories

What is DVAM?
Each October, YWCA Spokane’s Domestic Violence Action Month (DVAM) campaign is designed to raise awareness in our community, center survivor’s voices, and inspire collective action to end intimate partner violence.

In Spokane County, it is estimated that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 10 men have experienced some form of domestic violence. Domestic violence continues to be the number one call to 911 and is often one of the most dangerous calls for police to respond to.
