Teen and Kid Closet is all about dignity for an often-overlooked population, children in need. The idea is simple. We give new or gently used clothing to children who need it for free. Our focus is youth in foster care or in poverty. Most of the youth we serve have no other access to nice clothes.
TKC is a brick-and-mortar shop in Spokane, serving all of eastern WA and North ID. Every shopper, from babies to young adults is welcome to our free shop. Each child has to be referred by someone of authority: a social worker, school counselor, etc.
By partnering with community members to get clothing donations – and staffing all positions with volunteers – we leverage resources in a huge way. Together, we are helping our children and youth understand how much our community cares and believes in them.
Teen Closet is currently collecting clothing specifically to support Spokane wildfire victims and is prioritizing fire-affected families through its assistance program.
specifically looking for:
- New or gently used clothing of all sizes (newborn to adult)

Donations can be dropped off at any Spokane or Airway Heights First Interstate Bank location or participating 16 Cents, 5 Shoes, 3 Socks locations. Individuals affected by the wildfires who need clothing assistance can apply through the organization’s website and note that their request is fire-related to help prioritize their application.
