The City of Spokane Arts Commission is pleased to present Traversing, an exhibition by Idaho artists Sally Graves Machlis and Delphine Keim at the Chase Gallery in Spokane City Hall. The exhibition will be on view through October 30, 2026, with a free public reception on October 2nd from 5:00-8:00 pm.

Painter, Sally Graves Machlis, and graphic designer, Delphine Keim, combine their sensibilities within their mixed media work. The artists invite reflection through ambiguity, validation, and even dismay. The work focuses on the commonalities that we all share and explores environmental, social and personal issues.

Both artists are scheduled to be present during the October 2nd First Friday reception at the Chase Gallery. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet Machlis and Keim and learn more about the stories and processes behind their collaborative work.
