Established in 1935 by a group of Boeing employees, a small group of people wanted to help folks buy the tools they needed to get hired during the Great Depression. More than 80 years later, BECU is still guided by that credit union philosophy of "people helping people."

All of the new Neighborhood Financial Centers have member consultants on-hand to help members and advanced ATMs with 24-hour access. In addition, members can make appointments with experts who can help with buying or refinancing a home, growing a business and more.

Opening locations in Spokane is an exciting, natural extension for BECU. We've been serving Spokane for over 10 years - with more than 4,500 members living in the city, over 100 employees who work in our Spokane Call Center, and ATMs in 11 Rite-Aids in the area.

We also have long-standing relationships with schools in the area along with Junior Achievement's team in Spokane, which educates students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy.

We have begun building new relationships with community non-profits – and are eager to discover more ways to support the community. We're happy to be getting more involved in this city as we begin to establish deeper roots.
