Kay West has been making art, playing with different art media and teaching various techniques, for a very long time. This show brings together a number of different acrylic paintings, collage, baubles, fiber… all involving or including BUTTONS. Some of the metal textured buttons are handmade by Kay, whereas other buttons included in the artwork are manufactured and repurposed. Kay is interested in sometimes common, ordinary objects and creating with them in uncommon, unexpected ways.
