Spring Clean Week 2025 – Volunteer to Make Downtown Shine!
Join us for Spring Clean Week 2025 in Downtown Spokane, happening April 28 – May 2! This annual volunteer event is all about taking pride in our city and keeping downtown beautiful for everyone. Grab your coworkers, friends, or family and sign up to help clean up designated emphasis areas each day.
Volunteer Details:
April 28 – May 2 | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM Daily
Supplies & check-in at 818 W Riverside Ave
Daily Focus Areas:
- Monday – Sidewalks
- Tuesday – Parking Lots
- Wednesday – Alleyways
- Thursday – Planter & Tree Beds
City Squad Challenge: Want to make it fun? Post a photo of your cleanup efforts on Instagram, tag @downtownspokane and #SpringClean2025 (must be public to enter), and get entered to win a gift card to House of Brunch.
Corporate Challenge: The team that collect the most garbage bags (during the whole week) will earn Coffee and Doughnuts for the entire team!

Sponsor a Planter for the Year
Organizations and individuals can contribute to downtown’s walkability by sponsoring a sidewalk planter for $50, supporting the Clean Team’s efforts to purchase and maintain plants each year. With expert care and meticulous upkeep, these planters create a welcoming pedestrian environment. Donors may contribute anonymously or dedicate their sponsorship in honor of a friend, family member, or organization.
