The Downtown Spokane Business Improvement District (BID) has four (4) two-year term of the nineteen (19) Board seats available beginning February 2015. The Ratepayer Board Nominating Committee is currently seeking interested persons to fill these important positions. All Ratepayers in good standing are encouraged to consider submitting an application for consideration by the Nominating Committee.
The Ratepayer Board of Directors sets policy and determines how BID resources are spent to improve the economic capacity of Downtown through the provisions of enhanced municipal services in the areas of cleanliness, safety, promotions, marketing, and transportation. Your expertise and participation can help guide the BID to continue providing a high level of service and maintain the positive revitalization momentum underway in Downtown Spokane.
The Ratepayer Advisory Board represents a diverse array of business interest within the BID. As such, each seat represents a different Downtown contingency.

The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., unless otherwise designated, i.e. during holidays. Occasional other meetings are held as needed, such as a Board retreat. If you or your business are representative of the available seat, and you would like to be considered, please e-mail or fax back the attached application to mnunberg@downtownspokane.net or fax 509-747-3127. Please submit your application no later than Friday, December 5, 2014. Once received, the Nominating Committee will review all applicants and recommend a slate of candidates to the Board for approval. The slate and any other nominee will be voted on at the Downtown Spokane Annual Meeting of the BID in February 2015.
