Greetings Local Business Owners,
It is that time of year again and the City of Spokane is in the initial planning phase of the 2015 Cleaning From the Core (CFTC) event, happening on Saturday, April 25. CFTC is a volunteer event that aims to create meaningful and long lasting projects to clean and improve Spokane’s downtown core.
Past projects have included;
- Riverfront Park: annual/perennial plantings and cleanup
- Main Street to I-90: street sweeping, sidewalk sweeping, railroad viaduct power washing and litter pickup, and
- I-90 corridor: from Division Street to Maple Street litter and clean green cleanup, painting the skate park and graffiti abatement.
This year CFTC is focusing on priority projects that create lasting impressions on Spokane’s downtown core and the Spokane River. We would like to get input and hear from you regarding meaningful projects that local business owners are interested in seeing and participating in. Please take our short survey so that we can develop projects that directly improve Spokane’s downtown core.
Please help us by completing this survey by Friday, February 6th
If you are interested in learning more about the event, would like to be directly involved, or have other comments on how to improve this event please contact Alicia Powell at Apowell@spokanecity.org or by phone at (509) 625-6780.
Best Regards,
Alicia Powell
