The Downtown Spokane Business Improvement District (BID) has one (1) mid-year term of the twenty two (22) Board seats available beginning June 2017. The Ratepayer Board Nominating Committee is currently seeking interested persons to fill this vacant position. Ratepayers in good standing are encouraged to consider submitting an application for consideration by the Nominating Committee.
The Ratepayer Board of Directors sets policy and determines how BID resources are spent to improve the economic capacity of Downtown through the provisions of enhanced municipal services in the areas of cleanliness, safety, promotions, marketing, and transportation. Your expertise and participation can help guide the BID to continue providing a high level of service and maintain the positive revitalization momentum underway in Downtown Spokane.
The Ratepayer Advisory Board represents a diverse array of business interest within the BID. As such, each seat represents a different Downtown contingency.

This is the completion of an existing term expiring January 2019.
The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month excluding January and August at 8:00 a.m., unless otherwise designated, i.e. during holidays. Occasional other meetings are held as needed, such as a Board retreat. Please submit your application no later than Friday, Wednesday June 7, 2017. Once received, the Nominating Committee will review all applicants and recommend a slate of candidates to the Board for approval.
