BY DAY Soulful Soups & Spirits has been a welcoming downtown Spokane lunch destination for more than 17 years. Each Monday through Saturday we serve at least five different fresh, homemade soups, and bake lots of loaves of our famous beer bread to go along with it! We also offer a tasty selection of croissant sandwiches and made-to-order salads. During the day we offer efficient cafeteria-style counter service so you can take your deliciousness back to the office, or sit in our dining room and stay a while. The Soulful crew creates about 20-30 different soups throughout the week, so check Facebook for our soup selection and daily specials. Our soups are thickened with corn starch so the majority of our recipes are gluten-free! Tomato Basil, Moroccan Lentil, Southern Pulled Pork BBQ, White Chicken Chili, Broccoli Cheddar and Mulligatawny are just a few of the gluten-free faves on our menu. Some of our soups get a little extra flavor from one of our favorite things — beer! Feel free to ask your server for exact ingredients at anytime.

BY NIGHT Soulful transforms into the Spirits Lounge. The lights dim and the candles flicker — sometimes the disco ball gets in on the action, too! Our soup counter becomes part of the bar, and we invite you to take a seat in our dining room so we can bring bowls of goodness right to your table. Nights in the lounge are all about relaxing in a cozy hideaway. Innovative DJs, amazing live musicians and engaging trivia hosts add a little extra flavor to your experience. A wide variety of beer, wine and cocktails, along with daily drink specials, are all part of the fun. Soup, salads and breads are always available until we close at 11.
