The Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) will host a Fall Clean-Up on Wednesday, October 30 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Community members are invited to volunteer in activities including litter and leaf pick-up, graffiti removal and tidying up our beloved downtown. Clean up areas include the downtown core, and south downtown between the railroad and i90.
No experience is necessary – just high energy and a passion for keeping Spokane beautiful.
Volunteers will be provided with instructions from Clean Team members, necessary tools, and morning snacks courtesy Downtown Spokane Grocery Outlet. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing including long pants, sturdy shoes, and to bring their own work gloves.
Interested volunteers can sign up through the Volunteer Spokane website.
The community clean-up will occur one month after the DSP began a supplemental cleaning contract with the City of Spokane focusing on the areas of downtown south of the BNSF railroad viaduct. The supplemental contract will last through March of 2025.
