It was at Eastern University that Donna Kulibert discovered the joy of working with clay, and wants each of her pottery pieces to stand alone. Her carved pieces have a rippled surface like flowing water ~ the texture is intended for the person to rub their hands over to make them aware of nature.
Clay is timeless and potters have played a major role in civilizations. Archaeologists study ancient pottery to understand lost societies. I make pottery to be passed on for generations. Donna started making pottery in 1976 and for 35 years was a member of Pottery Place.
Stop by our gallery in October to experience Donna’s lifelong love of pottery ~ stop by the First Friday Reception on Oct 4 from 5-8:30pm to meet Donna Kulibert in person!
