About This Event

In this class you will learn about Sourdough Starter, from how to keep and feed it, how to properly measure and weigh ingredients, what to do with leftover starter, known as discard, and learn Jeff’s tricks and tips for using and sustaining a happy starter!

You will take home your own functioning sample of a local mother that has been around for more than a decade that you will touch and feed in class. Creating a good Starter is essential for creating sourdough bread at home!
