Wheatland Bank Horse and Carriage Rides
Enjoy the sights of Riverfront Park from a horse drawn carriage, sing your favorite carols with family and friends, and sit back to enjoy the ride. Riders are required to pre-register for a specific time-slot and may not gather in-line for an extended period of time.
Carriage rides are FREE and take place Fridays, 3–8pm, Saturdays and Sundays noon–5pm, and noon–3pm on Christmas Eve. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, added precautions have been implemented for 2020.

Small Business Bingo
From November 28 through December 21, play Small Business Bingo in Downtown Spokane. It’s an easy and fun way to tour downtown and earn a chance to win cash! Presented by Wheatland Bank.
How it works: Pick-up a Bingo Card at Wheatland Bank in Downtown Spokane or print online. Visit the businesses listed on your Bingo Card, collect an official stamp or signature from someone who works there. When you have collected five stamps/signatures in a row, column, or diagonal, return your Bingo Card to be automatically entered into the weekly $500 sweepstakes drawing held on Nov. 30, Dec. 7, Dec. 14 and Dec. 21. And as a bonus, earn an automatic $10 gift card when you collect a stamp at all 25 locations listed on your Bingo Card.

Plaza Lighting Displays
Decorative lighting displays will go up in the Chronicle Courtyard on Sprague Ave. between Lincoln and Monroe, and the Lincoln Courtyard on Riverside Ave. between Monroe and Post St. Enjoy these festive installations as you drive by, or make it a destination on foot as you explore downtown.
Riverfront Park Virtual Tree Lighting and Holiday Tree Walk
“Numerica Lights Up the Night” begins with a virtual celebration November 27, to light up the iconic 65-foot green spruce along Spokane Falls Boulevard. Mayor Woodward will lead a countdown to the illumination of 2,400 lights and a giant bow provided by Senske. We ask the Spokane community to join us online for this virtual event, to ensure we meet COVID-19 guidelines.

Numerica Lights Up the Night Holiday Tree Walk will feature up to 40 adopted trees from local organizations. Experience the Singing Sculpture at the Rotary Fountain, a responsive light display the that interacts with sound, as well as a nightly holiday light show at the Pavilion and seasonal Clock Tower lighting.

Crescent Windows
Step back in time this holiday season with classic window scenes on display in the Main Ave windows of the Davenport Grand Hotel. Five window bays on the south side of The Grand hotel will display scenes featuring refurbished figurines rescued from the basement of the former Crescent Department Store. Each of the five windows are designed and installed by local artists Stephanie Bogue, Melanie Lieb, Derrick Freeland and Jazmin Ely under the creative direction of Tiffany Patterson.

Kids Holiday Hunt
Hey kids! There are 10 colorful trees hidden all over downtown Spokane. Find a tree and locate a clue to answer the riddle below. Solve the riddle and earn a treat-bag full of Holiday fun. Each tree has a special ornament that contains a piece of the answer. Once you have collected all the clues, unscramble them to answer to the riddle, show your completed worksheet at the concierge inside River Park Square to exchange for the prize.

Santa Pub and Wine Crawls
Get in the Christmas spirit by visiting the many tasting rooms in downtown. Participants who complete a punchcard will be able to win fun prizes. One card will set you out to breweries and cideries, another to wine tasting rooms, all within the downtown core. (Beginning date TBA)
