Join us in downtown Spokane for First Friday. This month 41 venues are participating in the monthly art walk featuring the sights, sounds, and flavors of the holidays. Most venues open from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. For a full list of activities and artists visit www.firstfridayspokane.org.

You will find December’s featured First Friday poster by artist, Vicki West at William Grant Gallery in Kendall Yards.

West is a lifelong painter, painting and teaching professionally for over 20 years. She is a signature member of Spokane Watercolor Society and recent member American Women Artists. West has been presented with countless awards, solo and group shows, public art and print recognition in Artists’ Marketing Resources Magazine. West’s work will be in exhibit at William Grant Gallery in June of 2019, and she has painted one of the fiberglass hearts benefitting the Ronald McDonald House, currently on display in downtown.

About First Friday

Downtown First Friday launched in November of 2003 in conjunction with the Spokane Arts Commission. Today, over 50 downtown venues participate each month to bring visitors to downtown, and promote arts patronage in our region. First Friday always occurs on the First Friday of the month with the exception of February and October, when First Friday and the Visual Arts Tour merge to become a city-wide arts tour presented by Spokane Arts.
