RICK SINGER: 43 Year Retrospective
The Chase Gallery in Spokane, WA, is thrilled to host “Rick Singer: 43 Year Photographic Retrospective” from September 6 – October 25, 2024.
This is a rare opportunity to see Rick Singer’s spectacular body of work from his 43-year career as Spokane’s preeminent portrait photographer, documenting the diverse people of Spokane. Portraits include graduating seniors, doctors, refugees, families, musicians, artists, and shop keepers.
In addition, this show will include Mr Singer’s gorgeous personal work of landscapes, abstract textures, and cemetery statuary.
Rick’s grandfather started the family business “Dutch’s” in Spokane in 1915. Rick Singer Photography studio was located in the old hotel above Dutch’s on Main Ave. Rick used the natural light , cracked plaster, and peeling wallpaper of the 1910 building as his inspiration and backdrops for his many years of sensitive portraits.
