One of the most important tasks of your Business Improvement District (BID) is to do everything we possibly can to assist in keeping downtown safe and inviting for your employees, customers and guests.
In an effort to work smarter with limited resources, and in partnership with the Downtown Police Precinct, the BID is exploring options to add more eyes to our downtown sidewalks. Coupled with better lighting and signage, the use of recorded video from outdoor surveillance cameras aimed at public spaces is a proven best practice method for deterring and resolving crime that is utilized in thousands of cities around the world
