On Thursday February 13, the Downtown Spokane Partnership (DSP) presents the 2020 Annual Meeting featuring Keynote Speaker, Mick Cornett.

Former four-term Mayor of Oklahoma City and co-author of The Next American City: The Big Promise of Our Midsize Metros, Cornett’s list of awards includes nods for urban design, health, sports and the arts. Newsweek called him one of the five most innovative mayors in the country. London-based World Mayors listed him as the No. 2 mayor in the world, and Governing magazine named him the Public Official of the Year.

Cornett also led the charge to pass MAPS 3, an innovative $800 million investment in parks, urban transit, wellness centers and infrastructure that dramatically reshaped Oklahoma City and enhanced the quality of life of its residents.

“2020 marks 25 years of the Downtown Partnership,” says DSP President, Mark Richard. “We hope to follow-up downtown’s recent renaissance with another 25 years of exciting innovation, collaboration, and revitalization for visitors, residents, and workers.”
