PPP is pleased to welcome metalsmith and jewelry artist Thomas Cressman as our Guest Artist for August. From his metal studio in Mead WA Thomas creates wearable & sculptural art and jewelry that reflect the details and structural features of organisms around us, drawing most of his inspirations from mycological and oceanic life. The work is abstracted interpretations of his inspirations, always striving to make every object stand on its own as a unique work of art, using metalsmithing and patination techniques to show a contrast of color and texture.
