Spokane Welcomes Women’s Sports

Calling all sports fans! The Downtown Spokane Partnership and Spokane Sports are bringing the excitement of NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament play to the heart of downtown. We’re teaming up with local establishments to create official “Fan Sites” for each of the eight visiting teams competing in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds.

    Pacific Northwest Qualifier Week 1

    The Pacific Northwest Qualifier (PNQ) is one of the premier junior volleyball tournaments in the country, bringing thousands of athletes, coaches, and spectators to Spokane each spring. As a USA Volleyball Girls Junior National Qualifier, PNQ attracts top-tier club teams from across the nation, competing for bids to the national championships.

    Held over multiple weekends at the Spokane Convention Center and The Podium, the tournament transforms downtown Spokane into a hub of volleyball excitement, with intense competition across all age divisions. Beyond the courts, teams and families enjoy Spokane’s vibrant downtown, making PNQ a key event for both the volleyball community and the city’s local businesses.
