The Downtown Spokane Business Improvement District is excited to announce that HomeStreet Bank will be celebrating the official opening of its newest location in downtown Spokane on Wednesday March 21 at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Lincoln Building located on the corner of Lincoln and Riverside.

The new Spokane branch, which opened in December 2017, expands HomeStreet’s presence in Spokane adding Retail banking to the existing Mortgage and Commercial offices.

The renovation of the suite on the main-floor of the building owned by Goodale & Barbieri included a complete gut and rebuild from the ground up, giving the space a modern look and feel, unlike any other branches in the Spokane area.

HomeStreet Bank choose the downtown location as its Spokane home base to be central to Spokane’s commerce, and the business heartbeat of our community.

“The best part of our job is working in beautiful Spokane and helping our community with their banking needs,” says Jennifer Walter, VP & Eastern Washington District Manager. “Some banks are closing branches around the country to save overhead costs. But we’re not like any other bank – we’re a community bank that values one-on-one, face-to-face interaction with our customers.”

There are currently six employees at the Spokane location, led by Steve Storey, Team Lead of the Eastern Washington Commercial Lending group, and Jennifer Walter, District Manager of Eastern Washington Retail Banking.
